| 内容記述 | Short chain alcohols simply inhibited the pacemaker rhythm, contractile tension and action potential of the frog heart dosedependently, and did not produce any biphasic effects. The aldehyde, on the contrary, elicited augmentative and inhibitory actions and caused biphasic dose-response curves in the spring, while causing simple monophasic inhibition in the autumn. Propranolol (10^<-7> M) eliminated the augmentation, and atropine (10^<-7> M) mitigated the inhibition. The variety of responses and seasonal changes indicated that the tone of the autonomic nerves could affect the efficacy of aldehydes and hence the alcohol intoxication. | |||||
