| 内容記述 | We had produced life tables for 1965 by marital status formerly in 1975. These mortality rates for the age group (nqx) were derived from central death rates (nMx) by the Greville-Tachi method. And the number of deaths at each age (dx) was obtained from the number of ones at the age group (ndx) by the Greville's interpolation coefficients. We consider that there was room to improvement in procedure. So we have revised these tables by the similar methods with the same tables for 1975 presented last year. However qx at age 88 and over is calculated using the Gompertz-Makeham formula. Expectation of life at each age (ex) of the married in the new tables is decreased for both sexes than the old ones. The same of the other marital status is increased except ages under 40 of the widowed for females. Employing multiple regression analysis of function values by sex of these tables to the 12th life tables,the perfect multiple correlation exists in qx, ix (number of survivals) or ex. Among all sorts of marital status, the highest value of ex is found in the married, followed by the widowed, while the lowest is in the single for both sexes. Examining sex ratios of function values at specified ages, ex for males is shorter than the one for females in all the above ages. Comparing the percent increase of mean in ex from 1965 to 1975, the highest value is found in the widowed for males or in the single for females, and the next comes the divorced, while the lowest is in the married for both males and females. These mortality differences by marital status may be influenced mostly by the fluctuations of construction ratios of population and of deaths among the above period. | |||||
